Committee Management
Useful Links for OCM Clients

OCM clients may find the following links and information useful:

  • FACA Database, which is maintained by the General Services Administration, enables federal agencies to continuously manage the nearly 1,000 advisory committees, government-wide. This "shared system" database helps agencies and their committee managers to provide accurate and timely information so that all the database users have access to data required by FACA.
  • IMPAC II provides information and documentation about the eRA (electronic Research administration) systems developed by the Office of Extramural Research Systems for management, planning, analysis, and coordination.
  • Office of Federal Advisory Committee Policy (OFACP) provides policy, guidance, and resources for those who manage federal advisory committees at the NIH and at other federal agencies.
  • Secure Payee Registration System (SPRS): NIH is pleased to introduce a new simplified registration process to facilitate disbursement of honoraria and expenses to reviewers for their participation in peer review meetings. The new system replaces the U.S. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system that NIH discontinued in May 2008.

Effective January 17, 2009, NIH Reviewers are urged to start registering in the new system. Please click on the link to view the Registration Instructions for Secure Payee Registration System (SPRS).
